Joseph P. Singer, III

Associate Attorney

Joseph Singer is an alumni of the University of Toledo College of Law, having served as President of the Criminal Law Society and as Contributing Articles Editor of Law Review Board 54. Preceding his legal studies at UToledo, he earned a B.S. in Legal Studies from American Military University.

Before his academic pursuits, Joseph served with honor as a United States Marine, deploying to Afghanistan in 2010 and 2012 as a Specialized Search Dog Handler.

His willingness to serve extended to roles such as a Personal Security Specialist with the Department of State and Department of Defense, where he played a pivotal role in training globally renowned Military Working Dog teams.

Joseph represents individuals, families, fiduciaries, and business owners across a broad range of personal and commercial legal matters. His practice focuses on:

Estate Planning:  Drafting wills, trusts, powers of attorney, healthcare directives, and related documents tailored to each client’s family structure, values, and long-term goals.

Estate and Trust Administration:  Guiding executors and trustees through probate and trust settlement, asset distribution, and fiduciary responsibilities.

Business Law:  Advising closely held companies and entrepreneurs on formation, governance, contract negotiation, succession planning, and day-to-day operational matters.

Real Estate:  Representing buyers, sellers, and investors in commercial and residential transactions, lease negotiations, title issues, and land use matters.

Joseph’s cross-disciplinary background allows him to integrate personal and business planning seamlessly—offering clients cohesive, forward-looking solutions that protect what matters most.

Beyond his professional career, Joseph dedicates time to his family, comprising two daughters, Rowan and Vivian, and a son, Callan, along with their canine companion, Ashley. His commitment to family is shared with his partner, Courtney. Joseph's personal interests include reading, writing, and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
