C. Craig Covrett

C. Craig Covrett was born and raised in Toledo, Ohio. He married Susan L. Purcell in 1970. Susan retired as an Advanced Placement English teacher from Emmanuel Christian School in Toledo.
Craig and Susan have two sons, a granddaughter and a daughter-in-law who is a tax lawyer.
Craig graduated from the University of Toledo with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in 1970 and received his Juris Doctor Degree from the University of Toledo College of Law in 1973.
Craig started his law career at the former The Toledo Trust Company in its Trust Department. He went into private practice in 1977. He has been privileged to be a speaker at many civic and church groups over the years on the topics of estate planning and elder law.
He has served on various bar association committees as well as the boards of community and charitable organizations.

Memberships: The Ohio State Bar Association, The Toledo Bar Association, The Toledo Estate Planning Council, The National Association of Elder Law Attorneys and the Christian Legal Society. Craig and Susan are active members of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Toledo.
Craig retired from the practice of law on December 31, 2014.
